FAQs
We want to make your stay as easy and stress-free as possible. Contact us below if your questions aren’t answered here!
Q: Is the hot tub available for year round use?
A: Yes! It automatically holds the temp between 100-104F so it's always steamy and ready to go. Being warm while enjoying the snow is a magical experience.
Q: What's included in the premium pet package?
A: When we say we welcome pets, we truly mean it. We want them to feel right at home at the cabin. The cabin is equipped with bowls for food and water, a dog bed, tie out cables, pet towels and shampoo just in case. We also provide a poop bag dispenser by the front door, and ask that you please clean up after your dog. We know it can be difficult to keep pets off the beds and furniture. If any accidents happen, we provide Nature’s Miracle cleaning spray along with a wet vacuum if needed. We now have a scratching post for cats too!
Q: What baby supplies are at the cabin?
A: We provide a pack n play with fitted sheets. There is also a folding high chair and silicone flatware including a divided plate, bowl, spoons, and a straw cup. Hangers, books, and a few small toys are also stored with the baby supplies under the upholstered bed upstairs.
Q: Will anyone need to access the property during my stay?
A: Not usually. If we have planned maintenance like pest control or snow plowing, you'll be notified in advance.
Q: How does checkin work?
A: The smart keypad on the door will be automatically updated with a pin specifically for your reservation. You will receive the pin and the wifi information a few days before your reservation.
Q: Do I need to bring my own towels or bedding?
A: No! We provide bath towels, pool towels, hand towels, hair towels, makeup towels, dish towels, and even pet towels. The upstairs beds are made with fresh sheets, a duvet, a full sized throw blanket, and two sets of pillows (soft and firm). We also provide additional bedding and sheets for the pullout sofa bed or infant pack n play if needed.
Q: Do the goodies cost extra?
A: No! The welcome snacks, coffee/tea supplies, and spices are available for you to use at no additional cost.
Q: What activities or restaurants are near the cabin?
A: Check out our digital guidebook page. One of our favorites is the BBQ brisket poutine at Shady Akers.
Q: What are the house rules?
A: Our house rules are based on a simple principle: please respect the cabin, the cleaners, and the neighbors.
-Check-in after 4:00 PM
-Checkout before 11:00 AM
-6 guests maximum (excluding infant in the pack n play)
-Pets are welcome, please clean up after them
-Quiet hours are 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
-No parties or events
-No smoking on the premises
Q: What do I need to do for checkout?
Is there a dishwasher? Do I need to strip the beds, start the laundry, or take out the trash?
A: We like to keep checkout as simple as possible. There is no dishwasher, so we do ask that you wash your dishes and place towels in the laundry basket. But no need to take any further action with the bedding, laundry, or garbage.
Q: Do you include any local things at the cabin?
A: No, but we'd love to! If you have a product, treat, or local activity that would fit in our welcome basket or compliment our guest experience, we'd be happy to work with you. Please contact us with more information at cepheushomes@gmail.com
